At The Charter Group of Durango we have a dedicated staff of highly motivated and talented people to assure the success of your sell or purchase of Durango Area real estate. We work with the Sterling Companies here in Durango who is a full service Real Estate Brokerage. We offer help for buyers and sellers of real estate as well as property management and an extensive concierge service for second home owners.

David McNeese is a real estate professional with over 15 years sales experience. He and his wife moved to Durango from Pensacola, FL in 2004. The only regret they have about the move is they wished they had done it 20 years sooner. The Durango area is a great place to raise a family and their two boys were grown when they made Durango their home. Durango is like living in a post card! David McNeese understands this changing market, and can help you buy or sell your home or property, The Durango real estate market is unique and differs in a lot of ways from the national real estate trend. Jaime Marquez is the broker owner of the Sterling Companies, she has an extensive background in commercial real estate as well as large development project totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. Jaime is available to help with any questions you may have pertaining to development opportunities or commercial brokerage or property management.

Mary Nicholson is our managing broker she has extensive knowledge and experience in managing real estate brokerages. Mary is highly respected in the area and brings valuable insight and expertise to our group.

Maile King is our Director of Client Services she keeps everything running smoothly. Her drive for excellence in client services is invaluable.

Jenny Houle is another client services representative, she assists Maile with all of the little details that help makes our clients understand what the Sterling level of service really means!

Dolores Overton is our Financial Services Manager. Delores is that special person who loves to dot every i and cross every t in regards to financial matters. No company would be successful without an excellent detailed numbers person


Rodney Deyoe CCIM works with the Charter Group of Durango as our commercial real estate consultant. He has a very successful commercial brokerage in Temple, TX. Rodney assists in bringing a very high level of experience and expertise in regards to commercial real estate investments.

One of our key partners is one of Durango's finest attorneys of law.  Amy Huff will give advice and explain the earnest money contract, the title commitment & exceptions, and the warranty deed for our buyers.  Her fees for these basic services will be paid for by our company, as a service to clients who close their transaction with The Durango Charter Group. Another facet of most homes sales is a mortgage lender.  To better serve our clients, we have chosen two partners in the mortgage brokerage business.  JR Spies and Jo Dee Singer are independent owners of their owner mortgage companies, and we have found that they are both excellent at getting the lowest rates, and staying abreast of the ever changing mortgage industry.  We know our clients will find either one of these individuals helpful in meeting their lending needs.

The area of the boundary survey can be tricky, especially in the Durango area.  Our experience has shown that in the past, many old tracts of land were either incorrectly surveyed, or not surveyed at all.   It is critical to get the survey correct.  John Mower has agreed to be our partner in boundary surveying.  John has invaluable experience not only surveying, but County issues relating to the boundary lines in the Durango area. He, like all of our associates mentioned, is highly respected in the community, and has many years of experience.
